Role Description This is a full-time, on-site position located in the Greater Edmonton Metropolitan Area. The Human Resources Specialist will support the organization by handling key HR functions, including recruitment, onboarding, and employee engagement. Day-to-day responsibilities include managing HR records, resolving employee inquiries, updating company policies, coordinating training programs, and ensuring compliance with labor laws. You will also collaborate with managers to implement HR strategies, assist with performance management processes, and contribute to fostering a positive work culture.

Qualifications

Proficiency in recruitment, onboarding, and employee relations practices Strong knowledge of HR policies, labor laws, and compliance requirements Experience with HR software, recordkeeping, and database management Skills in training, performance management, and employee engagement initiatives Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving abilities Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field HR certification (e.g., CHRP or SHRM) preferred Previous experience in the logistics or warehousing industry is an asset #J-18808-Ljbffr
