General Manager - Food & Beverage Operations - Toronto We are seeking an exceptional General Manager to lead all food and beverage operations at one of Toronto’s most iconic and high‑profile hospitality venues, generating $60M+ in annual revenue. Base Pay Range: CA$160,000.00 / yr – CA$160,001.00 / yr (actual pay based on experience and skills) Key Management Responsibilities Lead all aspects of the venue’s food and beverage operations, including full‑service restaurants, luxury guest suites, concessions, and upcoming restaurant initiatives. Direct a large team of front and back‑of‑house managers (37) and staff, fostering a high‑performance, service‑driven culture. Ensure consistent delivery of premium guest experiences across all service levels—from high‑end cuisine to classic quick‑service favorites. Develop, implement, and monitor financial strategies and controls to meet and exceed revenue targets, manage labor and product costs, and maintain strong P&L performance. Partner with senior leadership to evolve operational strategies aligned with corporate goals and client expectations. Lead high‑volume event service planning and execution to ensure seamless service delivery during peak periods and special events. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, community leaders, and government officials, representing the property with professionalism and integrity. Drive established and new F&B concepts, trends, and service innovations in line with guest expectations and market demands. Implement training and career development programs that elevate service standards and improve team retention and engagement. Qualifications & Experience 5–7 years in a senior food and beverage leadership role within a high‑volume, multi‑outlet environment. Background in convention centres, stadiums/arenas, large‑scale event venues, casinos, or major hotel/resort (preferred). Proven ability to manage large‑scale budgets and complex operations. Demonstrated success in leading large, diverse teams with a focus on culture, service delivery, and financial performance. Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a collaborative and inspiring leadership style. Deep understanding of food and beverage trends, cost controls, culinary operations, wine and beverage programs, and event execution. Strong analytical and forecasting skills; able to interpret data to make informed decisions. Degree or diploma in Hospitality, Hotel, or Restaurant Management is strongly preferred. Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, high‑pressure environment with excellent attention to detail, organization, and time management. Experience implementing innovative service models and operational improvements.
