General Practitioner in Medical Oncology - BC Cancer - Kelowna Provincial Health Services Authority invites applications for a General Practitioner in Medical Oncology to join the Kelowna team. This role supports a newly established Gynecological Oncology Surgery program in partnership with Interior Health. Responsibilities Work with a team of specialized surgeons, oncologists and allied health professionals at this centre Participate in the treatment and follow‑up of patients, including curative and palliative treatment planning Engage in clinical trials as opportunities arise Work part‑time (regular, flexible FTE) and help support the local and provincial GPO network Qualifications Eligibility for full licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of British Columbia (FRCP, FRCS or CCFP) Eligibility for appointment to the medical staff of BC Cancer, Kelowna General Hospital and the University of British Columbia In‑patient and oncology experience is an asset but is not required; BC Cancer will provide didactic virtual teaching and in‑clinic patient‑related instruction Location Kelowna, British Columbia, Canada – a vibrant mid‑sized city in the Southern Interior region of BC surrounded by lakes, mountains and vineyards.
