Position Overview: The Manager, Organizational Effectiveness and Talent Management will lead the design, enhancement, and delivery of projects and processes related to succession planning, career development, performance management, goal setting, organizational development, and talent insights across the Canadian division. Key Responsibilities: Talent Management Manage talent management projects to support the organization’s strategic imperatives Manage talent management, career development and succession planning programs Support and drive the talent management program and succession planning process through the evolution of success profiles and organizational capabilities, and ensuring alignment with the strategic direction of The Home Depot Cultivate research and benchmarking to create new resources and tools that support our talent planning strategy and initiatives Drive data analysis of key roles and work with human resources business partners to align findings to talent framework Assess outcomes of talent planning cycle and use data to improve internal processes and support tools. Performance Management Continue the evolution of the Home Depot’s performance management program (PACE) that assesses associates' achievement of goals, aligns on current and future priorities, as well as promotes continual career development discussions between associates and their leaders Lead the performance management process including developing supporting tools and communications, and overseeing continuous improvement and system changes. Collect and analyze individual, team and divisional data and provide recommendations to help leaders improve performance through goal setting and leader behaviours. Organizational Effectiveness, Engagement and Listening Support the measurement of associate engagement and provide recommendations to improve the process and tools to align with the strategic direction of the organization Lead divisional associate engagement and listening initiatives including post activity analysis, and action planning Support the implementation and execution of developmental assessments, including the administration and evaluation, candidate support, technical support, and post assessment coaching / development planning. Organizational Development & Design Support organization change efforts across the company and / or specific business units including organizational design. Use organizational analytics to identify structural, process and / or people issues and opportunities.
