Job Description: 

We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Technical Field Support Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in technical support and maintenance, with hands-on experience in sensor installation and monitoring. This role is critical to ensuring the successful implementation and operation of our predictive maintenance solutions, maintaining client satisfaction, and providing expert recommendations. 


Key Responsibilities: 


Sensor Installation

  • Perform on-site installation of sensors and other monitoring equipment. 
  • Ensure proper setup and calibration of sensors for optimal performance. 


Asset Monitoring:

  • Monitor assets through vibration analysis and other diagnostic tools. 
  • Analyze data to detect potential issues and ensure asset reliability. 


Client Satisfaction:

  • Maintain high levels of client satisfaction through effective communication and problem-solving. 
  • Address client concerns and provide timely updates on support activities. 


Support Ticket Management:

  • Manage support tickets related to hardware issues and client inquiries. 
  • Provide prompt and accurate resolutions to technical problems. 


Maintenance Support:

  • Perform maintenance support on sensors, including troubleshooting and repairs. 
  • Ensure sensors are functioning correctly and efficiently. 


Reliability and Maintenance Recommendations:

  • Provide clients with reliability and maintenance recommendations based on data analysis and field observations. 
  • Help clients optimize their maintenance strategies to improve asset performance. 


Additional Support Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the development and implementation of support procedures and best practices. 
  • Collaborate with the product development team to provide feedback and improve our solutions. 
  • Conduct training sessions for clients on the use and maintenance of our systems. 
  • Keep up-to-date with industry trends and advancements to provide the best possible support. 


Qualifications: 

  • Technical diploma in mechanical systems, machine repairs, or a related field. 
  • 3+ years of experience in technical support or field service roles. 
  • Strong understanding of sensor technology, vibration analysis, and predictive maintenance. 
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. 
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills. 
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively. 
  • Experience with support ticketing systems and CRM software. 
  • Have a drivers license and be willing to travel to client sites by car as needed.
