Mingyang is one of the global leading wind turbine OEM with over 120 GW of turbines operating around the world including China, Italy, Japan, Brazil, Bulgaria, Vietnam, India, Pakistan, and etc. Sales Director – VP @ MingYang Smart Energy | MBA, Business Development We are seeking candidates for the role of Sales Director within the MingYang Group, with additional positions for Sales Managers. Position Objective Candidate will focus on building the business area and maximizing the commercial actions of the company in Canada. The individual interacts regularly with external customers and internal stakeholder functions to bring execution excellence. Requires solid commercial in wind turbines and financial understanding, to enhance customer satisfaction, operational excellence, and overall business growth / profitability. Direct Report GM of Mingyang America Direct Functions Business Development professional will direct front-end assessment of business opportunities to provide sales and service solutions. Taking the lead in the negotiation of tenders for turbine, projects and service activities. Close cooperation with the Headquarter to maintain a detailed understanding and overview of the market, activities and project opportunities. Accountable for product line leadership and collaborates cross-functionally with colleagues to promote successful transactions. Tasks include building strategy; develops sales strategy and negotiates business deals in accordance with company standards. Solid participation in marketing activities including trade show and conference attendance and product marketing development. Requirements Bachelor or Master in an economics, mechanical/electrical engineering or alternative discipline, with strong wind market knowledge. Minimum of 3 years of experience in a position with commercial background in the sale from the wind turbine. A good knowledge of the wind energy market. Leading negotiations with the customer with a clear customer and target orientation. Knowledge of project financing issues and experience with modeling cash flows and project economics would be a plus. User of Microsoft Office products, exposure to CRM desirable. Ability to develop ideas and operate, influence and counsel within the extended team and business clients. Experience in working with international clients and colleagues with strong intercultural communication.
