XL Flooring Co. Ltd. is a premier luxury vinyl floor importer and distributor providing sales and service to over 1,500 flooring dealers across North America. We are a privately owned Canadian company that has established strategic manufacturing partnerships in South Korea to produce the most trusted, reliable, and stable luxury vinyl flooring offered in North America today. We strive to deliver quality products, professional operations, community contribution, and environmental responsibility. We are currently recruiting for the role of Director of Sales to join our dynamic and energetic team. The Director leads the Canadian and USA sales teams, located from coast to coast. This position reports to the General Manager. Roles and Responsibilities Lead from the front – develop and execute a scalable and sustainable growth strategy, aligned to ambitious growth targets Customer Partnerships – build and maintain strong, long‑term relationships with core customers and buying groups/organizations Business Development – identify and target new business opportunities Build winning team – mentor and build a pipeline of high performing sales talent Department OKR and KPI – develop sales objectives and metrics, track progress, and report outcomes to ensure alignment with company priorities Inspire and uplift – cultivate a culture of coaching and empowerment Champion cross cultural excellence – collaborate with Marketing, Finance and other office teams to align efforts and amplify results Drive smart growth – use data to optimize performance, improve forecasting, and ensure best in class customer experiences Travel – make scheduled and consistent visits to sales territories and core customers, to strengthen relationships and assess local market performance Requirements and Competencies Proven track record in sales management and revenue growth Experience in B2B sales, establishing strong customer relationships Excel in working in a smaller, entrepreneurial business, where you are both a high-level strategist and hands‑on operator Collaborative, data informed and results oriented leader Wholesales/distribution or flooring industry experience preferred Travel cross border, between Canada and USA We Offer Opportunities for career advancement Challenging and engaging work Professional culture Job Details Seniority level: Director Employment type: Full-time Job function: Sales and Business Development Industries: Wholesale Building Materials Referrals increase your chances of interviewing at XL Flooring Co Ltd by 2x.
