Scope of Position Our client is seeking a hands‑on, entrepreneurial General Manager to lead its Quebec‑based fastener distribution and coatings/customization business, as well as an affiliated B2B distribution entity. The role carries full P&L ownership and oversees sales, operations, supply chain, procurement, and finance. The ideal candidate brings strong experience in fasteners or industrial distribution, thrives in post‑acquisition environments, and excels at driving growth, improving operations, and developing high‑performing teams. Bilingual fluency in French and English is required. \Responsibilities Business & Strategy Lead all day‑to‑day operations and set long‑term strategic direction for the Quebec region. Drive operational improvements, margin expansion, and customer value. Identify integration and synergy opportunities across the broader organization. Grow revenue by strengthening customer relationships and expanding key accounts in construction and industrial markets. Support the sales team with product expertise and ensure exceptional customer service. Oversee warehouse, inventory, coatings/customization, and logistics to ensure efficiency, quality, and safety. Manage budgeting, forecasting, cost control, and working capital. Supply Chain & Procurement Lead purchasing strategy, vendor management, and continuous improvement to optimize cost and lead times. Organizational Leadership Build and develop a strong, accountable leadership team. Foster a high‑performance, collaborative culture aligned with the broader enterprise. Dual‑Entity Oversight Coordinate strategy and resources between the primary distribution business and a secondary B2B entity, leveraging shared capabilities. Qualifications 10+ years of progressive leadership in distribution, industrial products, manufacturing, or construction supply. Proven success as a General Manager with full P&L responsibility. Experience in PE‑backed or post‑acquisition environments is a strong asset. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or related field. What Success Looks Like Drives profitable growth and strengthens the Company’s position in the Quebec market. Balances commercial leadership with disciplined operational performance. Builds a cohesive, high‑performing team. Identifies and executes integration and synergy opportunities across the organization.
