Senior Mechanical & Electrical Project Manager Join to apply for the Senior Mechanical & Electrical Project Manager role at Maple Reinders. Maple Reinders Constructors is currently searching for an experienced Senior Mechanical & Electrical Project Manager to join our civil construction team in Toronto, Ontario. As a Senior M&E Project Manager in our Civil division, you will support the Project Team in delivery of exciting water and wastewater construction projects. Your focus will be to maintain contract documentation, support estimating, and assist with the preparation of budgets and schedules. We work on Design‑Build, Plan‑and‑Spec, and Construction‑Management contracts, giving you experience across all types. The purpose of this role is to ensure that the project is profitable, performed to contract documents, completed with outstanding quality, and conducted in a safe workplace. Job Duties Develop and manage project plans and schedules. Select suppliers and sub‑trades and obtain quotations. Oversee M&E activities, functions, and resources. Negotiate and clarify scope of work with sub‑trades and suppliers. Manage the submittals and approvals process. Review shop drawings. Set up and orderly manage project administration files. Control documents (distribution of drawings & specifications). Implement and update QA/QC for individual projects. Ensure progress payments are received promptly. Quote and negotiate change orders. Provide M&E support and technical expertise to the Estimating and Proposals departments as required. Assist with project site meetings and sub‑trade coordination meetings. Develop effective relationships with current and prospective clients, consultants, realtors, and developers. Prepare budgets and regular cost projection reviews. Administer construction contracts properly. Ensure all required permits and licenses are obtained. Qualifications Minimum of 10 years’ experience as a Project Manager in construction (ideally with a general contractor). A university degree or technology diploma in civil engineering, mechanical trade, or a combination of education and industry experience. Process mechanical experience is a must.
