Base Pay Range CA$125,000.00/yr - CA$150,000.00/yr Senior Mechanical Engineer – Healthcare Projects Locations: Toronto, London, Kitchener, Kingston, Ontario (Hybrid) Salary Range: $125,000 – $150,000 Skyline Recruitment is currently partnering with a well‑established Canadian consulting engineering firm to recruit a Senior Mechanical Engineer with strong healthcare project experience . This opportunity is ideal for an experienced building services professional who has spent their career delivering technically complex mechanical designs in regulated, high‑performance environments such as hospitals, laboratories, long‑term care facilities, and medical clinics. You’ll play a senior technical role, contributing to projects that directly support patient care, clinical outcomes, and community infrastructure—while also helping shape internal standards and mentor the next generation of engineers. The Opportunity Lead and contribute to complex healthcare‑focused mechanical design projects Work on a diverse portfolio including hospitals, diagnostic facilities, labs, and care facilities Hybrid working model with flexibility across Toronto, London, Kitchener, or Kingston Join a technically strong, collaborative team with a long‑term growth outlook Key Responsibilities Review and stamp mechanical designs across a range of project scales and complexities Lead mechanical design concepts and technical strategies on complex assignments Conduct audits, feasibility studies, investigations, and prepare technical reports Perform site visits and provide construction‑phase engineering support Support the ongoing development of internal mechanical design standards Mentor and guide intermediate and junior engineers and designers Ideal Background Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) licensed in Ontario 10+ years of mechanical building systems design experience Experience with central plant systems (hot water, steam, chilled water) Strong knowledge of DDC / building automation systems, including sequences of operation and troubleshooting Broad project exposure across sectors such as healthcare, commercial, institutional, industrial, or government Strong communication, organization, and leadership skills What’s Offered Competitive compensation aligned with senior‑level experience Performance‑based incentive compensation Long‑term career progression within a stable and respected consulting environment Interested?
