In September 2023, Graham Partners, a private investment firm known for its collaboration with family-owned and operated businesses, acquired Commercial Bakeries. With a rich history of leveraging their expertise, Graham Partners aims to propel Commercial Bakeries to new heights, continually enhancing their product offerings to meet and exceed the evolving needs of their customers.

 

  • Commercial Bakeries is now seeking a dynamic, results-driven Sales Manager, Ingredients to further realize their growth aspirations, expanding their reach, acquiring new clients, and supplying them with key ingredient components for the delicious food products they create. In this newly created role, the Sales Manager, Ingredients will report to the Chief Executive Officer of Commercial Bakeries and will play an impactful role in leading the ingredient portfolio for the organization, responsible for developing, communicating, and managing ingredient sales activities for North America, while building effective relationships with the food manufacturing community.


Position Requirements:

 

  • University degree in Business/Commerce, Marketing or Business Administration.
  • 5+ years of relevant sales experience; ideally with progression in key account size and market scope including Canada & U.S.
  • Experience gained in food ingredient sales or related business-to-business sales environment, selling to food manufacturers, consumer packaged goods manufacturers, retail, and foodservice.
  • The ideal candidate will be hungry for results and demonstrate willingness to get into the details to achieve wins and accelerate the growth plan. They are opportunistic in terms of driving business results and will be a builder who thrives in a growth environment.
  • Entrepreneurial drive and examples of innovation and commercial successes.
  • Proven experience in developing and executing sales plans, forecasting, and P&L management.
  • A strong negotiator with a successful track record of negotiating profitable deals; possesses the general business and financial acumen to know when and why to decline a potential business opportunity.
  • Highly honed communication skills, with the ability to influence across all levels and all functions of the organization and customer base. 
  • The ideal candidate will have passion for baked goods, snacks, and all things tasty.
