Our client, a leading financial services organization, is seeking an Analyst (Specialist, Transaction Processing) -to join their team.As an Analyst (Specialist, Transaction Processing) you will be part of the Operations Department supporting transaction reconciliation and financial data management.  Job Title: Analyst (Specialist, Transaction Processing) - 96778 Location: Toronto, ON Pay Range: Competitive, up to $29.00/hr Shift: Evening shifts begin after 2pm, with some overnight shifts after 8pm. Typical hours are 8:30-4 or 9-5, Monday to Friday. What's the Job? Reconcile cash and security transactions with various custodians to ensure accuracy and completeness. Run macros to generate and format daily reconciliation reports, identifying transaction breaks. Investigate and resolve transaction discrepancies by analyzing transaction types and asset details. Amend entries to resolve breaks and ensure data integrity across financial records. Collaborate with team members to improve reconciliation processes and maintain compliance standards. What's Needed? Experience in cash and asset reconciliation Experience in reconciliation within a financial firm, preferably in operations such as settlements or transaction processing. Strong financial knowledge, including understanding of investment accounts, products, and transaction types. Proficiency working with large datasets and advanced Excel skills. Experience reconciling high volumes of transactions, especially in wealth management or capital markets. Ability to investigate discrepancies and work effectively under tight deadlines.
