Overview Account Representative (Incented Sales Rep) at SaskTel. Location: North Battleford, SK . Type: Permanent Full Time. Salary: $34.87- $48.71/hour (determined by education and experience) plus the opportunity to earn additional sales incentives. Closing Date: 01/14/2026 . Responsibilities Responsible to utilize SaskTel sales methodologies to proactively identify, research, and contact existing or potential new customers to gain an understanding of their business needs and initiatives. Develops customer relationships by conducting needs analysis, creating solutions, proposals, and presentations to secure sales opportunities. Partners closely with other internal sales roles and Account Executives/Strategic Accounts Managers, internal partner organizations including marketing, finance and operations personnel, for proposals and delivery and also external/ third party resources. Establishes and meets personal, strategic and/or customer-based revenue results for SaskTel business products and services. Maintains sales opportunities and tracks identified decision makers, timelines, and qualifications in CRM and other tracking tools. Responsible for generating market awareness of SaskTel’s business product capabilities through events and information sessions. Recommends solutions, prepares and develops proposals and delivers sales presentations. Works with the customer post-sale to validate value, ensure overall customer satisfaction, and proactively negotiate new and/or existing contracts. Works with Business Sales & Enablement teams to protect revenues, maintain relationships, and meet sales targets. Assists in developing and updating customer accounts and business sales plans. Obtains customer commitment, negotiates conditions of sale and presents documentation for authorization. Develops and maintains working knowledge of SaskTel’s products, services, systems, pricing options, and emerging technologies and competitive threats. Qualifications Degree in Administration/Commerce/Computer Science/Engineering with a thorough knowledge of Sales techniques typically gained with 2 years of experience in a sales/marketing/technical role OR Diploma in Administration/Electrical Engineering/Electronics Engineering/Computer Science with 3 years of experience in a related role OR University Certificate in Business Administration with 5 years of experience OR Level 30 English with 6 years of experience. Thorough knowledge of one or more of the following: Internet, networks & data services; Wireless business services; Unified communication, collaboration & voice services; Technology devices (e.g., smartphones, tablets); Security & Smart Services; Data centre and Cloud-based services; Digital media services; Internet of Things (IoT). Thorough knowledge of business fundamentals (Finance, Marketing, Planning, Purchasing, Communications) and working knowledge of telecommunications/ICT or media services industry. Ability to interpret and effectively communicate technological concepts to clients at various organizational levels; strong sales ability in face-to-face environments; excellent verbal and written communication skills. Demonstrated ability to develop and deliver customized sales presentations and uncover customer business needs and drivers. Excellent ability to manage multiple tasks, plan and organize in a self-directed environment; strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Valid Driver’s License.
