About The Role

Up Financial is hiring an Advisor who wants to grow their practice with an independent firm. Our advisors are currently licensed in both Canada and the US.

This role is ideal for someone who wants autonomy over running their practice, while also being part of a team for support. The Up Financial team has extensive experience in running successful practices, creating systems for acquiring new clients, and providing education in tax, investment, insurance, and estate planning—areas where you will have the opportunity to consult the team. You’ll have direct access to Elijah Kirchmaier and Nathan Wood, who have built Up Financial to be one of the fastest growing wealth management practices in Canada. 

There are also many opportunities for client sharing; we currently receive more new client requests than we can personally handle on a monthly basis.

Compensation is based on billable fees. This includes both asset management fees and fee-for-service hourly and project based planning. This is not a salaried role. This role is for Advisors who want to run their own practice on a fee-based compensation structure.

This role is ideal for someone who is currently working at a captive firm or bank who desires independence.


Requirements

  • Active investment license 
  • CFP and/or CIM designations are preferred
  • 3-5 years experience
  • Sales or teaching experience is an asset
  • Professional demeanor, resourceful, self-motivated
