Workplace Program Lead Full Time, Permanent Virtual First Organization; Work from home-based office in Ontario, travel is required with occasional meetings and events within Ontario Salary Range : $75,000 – $85,000 Application Deadline : November 28, 2025 at 12 PM EST The Ontario Caregiver Organization (OCO) exists to improve the lives of Ontario’s estimated 4 million caregivers; ordinary people who provide physical and/or emotional support to a family member, partner, friend, or neighbour. OCO provides caregivers with one point of access to information, services and supports that empower and help enable caregivers to be successful in their role. OCO works in collaboration with caregivers, health care providers and other organizations to address the challenges that caregivers face so that all caregivers – regardless of age, condition, or geographic location – have access to the support they need. Come join our team We are recruiting for a Workplace Program Lead. This new role represents an exciting opportunity to be part of the Programs and Services Team leading the established Caregivers in the Workplace program. The ideal candidate will be a high performing individual who can work independently with minimal supervision, as well as collaboratively on a team, with a variety of external partners, as well as directly with caregivers. Key Responsibilities Reporting to the Acting Executive Lead, Programs and Services, the Workplace Program Lead will: Develop and maintain project workplans and workflows for delivering information and resources to employers and working caregivers across Ontario, building upon the existing program model Maintain an extensive understanding of all OCO programs and services , related workplace legislation, standards, and research on work and caregiving Participate in provincial and national working groups , roundtables and networks Identify and engage organizations with high potential of working toward building caregiver-inclusive workplaces Build and sustain collaborations with stakeholders across multiple sectors including health care, community services, corporations, and public sector Collaborate across the OCO team to manage and build partnerships with external groups Organize and facilitate both virtual and in-person presentations , workshops, education sessions, and events for working caregivers and employers (people managers, Human Resource professionals, executive leadership) Amplify the working caregiver voice through engagement opportunities, focus groups, and co-presenting as opportunities are cultivated and arise Inform the continued enhancement and development of the Caregivers in the Workplace education content, tools, and resources Increase recognition of caregivers in the workplace , impacts, and awareness of OCO across workplaces in Ontario Collaboratively create content to promote the Caregivers in the Workplace Program to be used in marketing and communications campaigns Ensure accurate and timely reporting of data and performance indicators and maintain stakeholder information in OCO’s designated reporting system Collaborate with caregivers as well as internal and external parties when developing new content or promotional materials Provide ongoing insights to the OCO team regarding working caregiver needs and workplace trends Other duties as assigned Qualifications Minimum 5 years’ experience in education, community and stakeholder engagement in health care, non-profit, community support, and/or social services Exceptional communication skills – verbally, in writing and in virtual environments Project management experience is an asset Experience working within and/or with unionized environments and/or human resources is an asset Excel at facilitation of interactive workshops, presentations, and meetings (online and in-person) Established network with relevant organizations is an asset Compassionate style and good listening skills, ideally with experience engaging caregivers and/or people with lived experience Understanding of and experience in inclusion, diversity, equity, and accessibility with proven ability to build relationships with organizations and individuals from diverse communities, including those facing barriers to inclusion Ability to foster relationships with professionalism, diplomacy, and trust Ability to develop and deliver action plans with clear goals and timelines Results-oriented , with ability to anticipate and solve challenges or barriers Self-starter with high degree of initiative, resourcefulness, and productivity Highly developed organizational skills and attention to detail Knowledge of caregiver needs and/or experience as a caregiver is an asset Strong technical ability and proficiency in the use of computers and various software applications, in particular Microsoft Office, Dynamics 365, Survey Monkey, Zoom Ability to speak and write in French is an asset Valid Driver’s license and ability to travel by car for meetings within Ontario Ability for occasional work after hours or on weekends to accommodate pre-arranged meetings or events Education Bachelor’s degree in relevant discipline. Post-secondary education in project management, human resources, education, social work, or social services is an asset.
