Responsibilities Place purchase orders to allocated vendors for a variety of food or packaging SKUs, at the correct price, quantity, buffer, etc. Partner with HelloFresh distribution centers, offsite production and warehouse locations, and suppliers to ensure timely deliveries and inventories match demand requirements. Drive continuous improvement efforts by recommending changes, testing new processes, and implementing updates. Analyze purchasing data to ensure accuracy of information, purchasing procedures and identify any discrepancies. Resolve any unforeseen problems with suppliers relating to operations, purchasing or quality/performance quickly and professionally. Conduct all weekly operations processes including updating POs, tracking freight, managing production issues, paying invoices, scrubbing data and managing inventory levels. Support teammates to ensure that no boxes are missed and no ingredients are substituted due to procurement issues.
