Reporting to the Product Director for ePharmacy, this role is at the forefront of Sun Life’s mission to improve healthcare accessibility. As a key contributor, you will drive the growth and scaling of our Online Pharmacy and Chronic Disease Management (CDM) portfolio. You’ll manage key partner relationships, deliver on plans to drive scalable growth, and identify new areas of opportunity across the business. You’ll collaborate closely with internal teams across marketing, product, strategy, legal and compliance, and engage with key third-party partners to grow our suite of products and services. This role is a critical part of the Health Products & Platforms team, ensuring our solutions are embraced and used by clients and supporting Sun Life Health’s commercial ambitions to improve health outcomes for Canadians. What will you do? Group Benefit Plan Sponsors: Consult with Account Managers to understand the needs of Sun Life clients, execute partnership opportunities, and report on uptake of program utilization at the Sponsor level. Develop Sponsor engagement materials such as information toolkits and presentations for internal sales teams to drive awareness of current and future programs. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to unlock exclusions that currently prevent broader awareness of ePharmacy and CDM programs. Sun Life Canada Business Units: Work proactively with other Sun Life BUs to understand their strategies, products, and ambitions in the health space and identify areas for collaboration (e.g., cross-promotion or use cases to adapt existing offerings to serve specific needs). Implement cross-BU initiatives, report on uptake across channels, and document learnings to share with the broader team. Direct to Consumer: Support the Sun Life Marketing team in delivering D2C campaigns that introduce solutions to Canadians, collaborate with internal marketing and product teams to identify key drop-off points along the user journey, and propose improvements to the product team. External Partner Management: Explore new partnerships outside the Sun Life ecosystem to drive ePharmacy and CDM growth. Lead internal risk reviews and contracting processes to finalize new partnerships. Support day-to-day partnership management, including co-creation and approval of marketing content, reporting on monthly/quarterly outcomes, and delivering on contract requirements. Motivated by a strong desire to improve health outcomes for plan members Strong understanding of the health industry and environment and ability to synthesize market opportunities for Sun Life Health Proven ability to translate strategy into execution and manage initiatives effectively Excellent leadership skills and a track record of collaborating with other teams Strong client orientation with the ability to interpret client needs and build trust and long-term relationships Strong organizational skills Solid knowledge of the Health industry with emphasis on digital health Understanding of the Group Benefits market is an asset Note: bilingualism (French, English, both oral and written) is required for Quebec only, as the position reports to a unilingual English-speaking manager outside Quebec. Education & Experience University-level education 5+ years in health industry work experience 5+ years in business development, commercial or strategic roles Background in strategy, product development, and/or business development The Base Pay range is for the primary location for which the job is posted. It may vary depending on work location and other factors. In addition to Base Pay, eligible Sun Life employees participate in various incentive plans.
