Manager, Web & TV Channels at Red Bull Using a mix of digital strategy, innovation and ambition, you will supercharge the growth of our owned channels in Canada: Red Bull TV and redbull.com. You will lead our strategy for increasing viewership and distribution of Red Bull’s TV content in Canada. You will use an entrepreneurial mindset to merchandise and distribute video content across a range of owned and partner channels. You will be the standard bearer for the digital TV industry; educating colleagues on the changing landscape and always looking for innovative new business opportunities to reach consumers with TV content. You will proactively work with partners to co‑market our Red Bull TV content to Canadian consumers. You will also be responsible for redbull.com in Canada, ensuring it is the source of truth for our brand, athletes, and projects. You will be a consultant and owner for web topics across the business, delivering web‑based solutions to support marketing campaigns and priorities. Your primary objective and challenge is to stay top of mind with Canadian consumers, while innovating ways to attract new ones. You will be an expert and strategist for Red Bull Media Network, identifying and articulating the most impactful opportunities and approach to Red Bull’s media properties. Responsibilities All the responsibilities we'll trust you with: RED BULL TV PROGRAMMING Develop and implement strategy to drive viewership on Red Bull TV by creating and adapting content programming plan across owned and 3rd‑party platforms/partners. Grow Red Bull TV reach via partner program focused on distribution through FAST channels, Connected TV and Shared Viewing (i.e. bars, restaurants, gyms), ensuring that we bring locally relevant distribution platforms into our network and open new audience potentials. Lead and manage content acquisition strategy (i.e. live rights, partner VOD etc.) for Red Bull TV. Rollout FAST channel distribution strategy in Canada, launching FAST channels network for Red Bull Canada and scheduling locally relevant programming that delivers on our marketing priorities. Work closely with Partnerships counterparts to secure promotion of content across FAST channel network. Manage local partner relationships to support organic distribution of Red Bull TV content. Leverage global guidance to implement and help strengthen overall strategy to reach new audiences. Work with local and Global Red Bull Content, Events and Partnership teams to identify opportunities to develop and program RBTV content from our projects and initiatives. RED BULL .COM PROGRAMMING Develop and oversee implementation of web strategy to drive conversion and visits to RedBull.com Canadian locales by defining content priorities to connect with and engage Canadians. Manage programming output and team execution for Canadian locales on redbull.com with a focus on actively scheduling locally relevant editorial, building and optimizing Canadian event pages and product pages. Commission and oversee editorial development tied to our local projects, events and athletes. Lead and develop local relationship with SEO agency to identify and execute optimization priorities across web. Manage projects and work closely with marketing counterparts across Sports, Events, Athletes, Field and Brand to effectively support marketing priorities and project slate. Commission creative and innovative .com page builds to support local advertising campaigns. Consult and coordinate frictionless web and online Brand activations with marketing counterparts and website developer/product engineering agencies. Be a people leader by managing and growing local Owned programming team and contractors. PERFORMANCE AND PLANNING Lead Red Bull TV and RedBull.com data analysis efforts and leverages insights to drive decisions and inform strategy across platforms. Analyze baseline performance of Red Bull Canada’s owned channels using proprietary (Red Bull Performance Dashboard) and 3rd party tools on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis. Gather insights to inform content commissioning optimized for each channel. Build and refine audience KPIs for channels to develop benchmarks for each platform based on audience growth, views and time watched. Guide KPI development, communication and analysis for Red Bull Canada projects, events and activations across Marketing departments. Lead channel output by guiding scheduling and cadence while coordinating commissioned content – working with local and global content and partnership teams to deliver world class programming. Lead content management processes ensuring plans, schedules, and content are ingested and activity is inputted across Media Planet/Airtable on a weekly basis. Collaboratively lead strategy development and implementation of new channels and features (i.e. FAST partners). Communicate and inform internal understanding of existing and emerging owned platforms and features and acts as platform expert in effort to spearhead innovation. Defines assigned channel priorities based on local channel performance, Global channel performance and Global guidance. Build consistent local cross‑network programming plans, utilizing local and Global programs to build awareness, relevance, content consumption and effective journeys around key moments and program releases. Build and align on Activation plans with Communications, Sports Marketing, Brand Marketing, Field Marketing, etc. Qualifications Marketing background and affinity an asset. 5‑7 years of experience required in organic digital programming of web channels; related roles in comparable industries such as Sports Media, Digital Media, TV Programming, SEO, Web Development, Partnerships, etc. Experience building and nurturing communities online to larger audiences and understands what it takes to be truly ‘always on’ in these spaces. Experience with people management and leading teams of full‑time and contracting staff is an asset. Proven ability to drive successful partnerships through targeted research, relationship building, hosting and engagement, and managing the full lifecycle from deal‑making to agreement finalization. A comprehensive understanding of the process of growing audiences and communities required; understands how to follow changes across digital platforms, has a hunger and hustle to continuously learn about growth strategies, tactics, etc. Strong editorial understanding and connections with authors in Red Bull’s existing playgrounds an asset. Cross‑functional management experience; working within a global, matrix organization is an asset. Well organized with the ability to work under pressure and sometimes unusual hours. Creative thinker and innovator. Self‑starter, able to work independently with confidence. Excellent presentation skills. Expertise in Microsoft 360 suite. Experience in web and video content commissioning, creation, and native organic publishing required. Bilingual in French/English an asset.
