Technical Sales Manager (Eastern Canada) We’re seeking a high‑energy, entrepreneurial team player to build and grow ICL’s Growing Solutions business from the ground up across Ontario, Quebec, PEI, Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, and Newfoundland. You’ll manage sales of our crop nutrition portfolio—granular, water‑soluble, controlled‑release, liquid fertilizers, and biostimulants—while working closely with product portfolio managers, agronomy, marketing, and sales operations to deliver excellent customer outcomes. Base pay range $104,000.00/yr - $143,000.00/yr Job Description This Technical Sales Manager will build relationships with distributors, retailers, and growers, creating and executing a sales growth plan for market expansion while managing budgets, forecasting, and S&OP integration. The role requires customer‑centric leadership, strong analytical skills, and a deep understanding of nutrient management. Location: Remote work from home with required field travel. What will I get to do in this position? Achieve/exceed territory sales budgets across the ICL product portfolio Build relationships with existing retail and distribution clients within the territory Expand relationships with new distributors, retailers, and growers Develop a sales growth plan for market expansion within the territory Provide technical support to customers on the use of granular, liquid, water‑soluble, controlled‑release fertilizers, and biostimulants used in agriculture Develop and execute the sales and marketing strategy derived from the business plan, including responsible budget management Provide market insight on competitor activity Produce annual sales forecasts and monthly updates to support the ongoing S&OP process Represent the organization at trade shows, events, and demonstrations Fully utilize SalesForce for recording customer interactions and review SAP dashboard reports to manage the territory What skills and experience do I need to be successful in this role? Bachelor’s degree in Agronomy or related field (preferably with coursework in plant science, soil science, plant health, and plant nutrition) Must reside within the assigned territory A minimum of five years of experience and demonstrated success with agricultural sales Existing distributor, retail, and/or large grower connections within the geography Experience developing complete nutrient management programs following Good Agronomic Practices (GAP) Analytical skills: ability to read and understand nutritional values relating to soil, water, and plant material Must be able to manage personal goals, corporate objectives, and maintain a customer‑centric focus Excellent oral and written communication skills, including public speaking and presentations Computer skills in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Map Point Excellent decision‑making and problem‑solving skills Ability to work in outdoor settings that may be cool, wet, hot, or dry, and may require standing, walking, and lifting up to 50 lbs Demonstrated ability to contribute and collaborate in a team environment Enthusiastic problem solver with a can‑do attitude Travel requirement: 60% What will set me apart?
