We are currently looking for an Experienced Controller to join our team The Controller is responsible for overall financial reporting, planning, budgeting, and accounting practices. A best-in-class benefit, and compensation package awaits the successful candidate, commensurate with experience.
Essential Duties:
- Produce accurate financial statements according to dealership guidelines and within each manufacturer’s format and time frame
- Interpret the financial statement and the daily operating control (DOC) regularly and inform senior leadership of developing trends
- Participate in the preparation of the annual forecasting process
- Work closely with the department managers providing them with detailed financial and management reports
- Ensure effective internal controls are in place for all accounting and financial processes
Requirements of the Position:
- University Degree, with CA or CPA designation preferred
- Minimum of 5 years of full cycle accounting experience in an automotive dealership
- Superior leadership skills with a focus on collaboration, innovation, and team engagement
- Excellent communication and organization skills
- Ability to demonstrate a professional approach, remain calm and focused under pressure, and produce the desired results in a fast paced and deadline sensitive environment
- Strong systems skills including advanced Excel skills and PBS
