Electrical Service Technician

**Job Title: Electrical Service Technician****Job Description**We are seeking a skilled Electrical Service Technician to join our team. The role involves installation, commissioning, and maintenance of hydraulic presses and automation systems. You will perform electrical installations and wiring, troubleshoot and resolve issues in mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical components, and carry out repairs and preventive maintenance. Additionally, you will provide training and instruction to customers on-site, offer technical support and after-sales service, and prepare detailed service and deployment reports.**Responsibilities**Install, commission, and maintain hydraulic presses and automation systems.Perform electrical installations and wiring.Troubleshoot and resolve issues in mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical components.Conduct repairs and preventive maintenance.Train and instruct customers on-site.Provide technical support and after-sales service.Offer feedback to internal service and sales teams regarding customer potential.Prepare detailed service and deployment reports.Supervise external personnel.Assist with sales activities such as technical consulting and presentations.**Essential Skills**2+ years experience understanding hydraulic controls and functions.2+ years experience in reading and interpreting electrical schematics.2+ years experience working with press machines and hydraulics.2+ years experience in customer relations.Willingness to travel internationally (30-50% travel).Knowledge of Siemens S7 TIA Portal, including safety PLC.Experience with Beckhoff TwinCAT 2 & TwinCAT 3.Experience using SAP or similar software.Proficiency in Microsoft Office.**Additional Skills & Qualifications**Customer experience handling.Proficiency in working with schematic diagrams.**Why Work Here?**Our company offers a comprehensive benefits package, including two weeks of vacation after one year, a company pension with 2% matching after one year, and an RRSP program. Travel is required as needed by the customer, accounting for approximately 30% to 50% of the time, which may include multiple weeks out of town.
