About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Controls Designer with strong expertise in electrical and pneumatic systems. The successful candidate will perform design work for industrial machinery, focusing on safety circuits, component selection, and collaboration across engineering teams. This is a hands-on role for someone who can hit the ground running and contribute to innovative machine design projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform electrical and pneumatic design for machinery using AutoCAD Electrical
  • Design and implement safety circuits and select appropriate components
  • Create and maintain BOMs (Bill of Materials) and release to purchasing
  • Attend project meetings and collaborate with mechanical engineers, project managers, and technicians
  • Support troubleshooting, commissioning, and documentation of control systems
  • Mentor junior designers and share technical knowledge within the team

Requirements:

  • 3–7 years experience as a Controls Designer (Electrical & Pneumatic)
  • 5 years experience using AutoCAD 
  • 3 years experience performing electrical and pneumatic machine design
  • 3 years experience in safety circuit design
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team environment
