Our client company is seeking an HR Coordinator for a three-month contract (with the high potential to become a permanent position). Responsibilities include day-to-day HR administration, recruitment, and policy implementation. The ideal candidate has strong administrative skills, attention to detail, and good HR knowledge.


Responsibilities:

  • Execute HR programs: compensation, benefits, talent management, etc.
  • Ensure compliance with employment laws and best practices
  • Assist in recruitment process and hiring
  • Conduct background and reference checks
  • Manage administrative tasks for onboarding and orientation
  • Handle HR-related inquiries
  • Implement and promote employee policies
  • Prepare HR-related correspondence
  • Assist in policy development and execution
  • Participate in HR objectives and systems development
  • Assist in benefits, compensation, and performance programs administration
  • Support employee engagement initiatives
  • Maintain employee files and records
  • Other duties as assigned


Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in HR management or related field
  • 1-2 years of HR management experience
  • Working towards CPHR designation is an asset
  • Knowledge of employment laws and HR fundamentals
  • Experience with HRIS/ATS/Payroll Systems
  • Knowledge of BambooHR is an asset
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and act with integrity
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office
