Our client company is seeking an HR Coordinator for a three-month contract (with the high potential to become a permanent position). Responsibilities include day-to-day HR administration, recruitment, and policy implementation. The ideal candidate has strong administrative skills, attention to detail, and good HR knowledge.Responsibilities:Execute HR programs: compensation, benefits, talent management, etc.Ensure compliance with employment laws and best practicesAssist in recruitment process and hiringConduct background and reference checksManage administrative tasks for onboarding and orientationHandle HR-related inquiriesImplement and promote employee policiesPrepare HR-related correspondenceAssist in policy development and executionParticipate in HR objectives and systems developmentAssist in benefits, compensation, and performance programs administrationSupport employee engagement initiativesMaintain employee files and recordsOther duties as assignedSkills & Qualifications:Bachelor’s Degree in HR management or related field1-2 years of HR management experienceWorking towards CPHR designation is an assetKnowledge of employment laws and HR fundamentalsExperience with HRIS/ATS/Payroll SystemsKnowledge of BambooHR is an assetExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to maintain confidentiality and act with integrityStrong problem-solving skills and attention to detailExcellent organizational and time management skillsProficiency in MS OfficeFull job description to follow.
