We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Strategy Manager, Contracts & Negotiations to join us. If you have a passion for structuring, drafting, and negotiating agreements and thrive on managing deals from term sheet to final signature, you will be an incredible fit. Here’s the impact you’ll make and what we’ll accomplish together: As the commercial architect for our key growth initiatives, you will be at the heart of how we build and expand our PureFibre program. You will support the development and execution of critical commercial agreements, ensuring they are financially sound and structured to create maximum value and drive our core business objectives. This role is for an individual who can navigate intricate negotiations and translate business strategy into clear, enforceable contract terms. Your expertise will directly enable the partnerships that fuel our growth. Responsibilities Support Commercial Negotiations: end-to-end negotiation for a portfolio of critical agreements, drafting and redlining term sheets in partnership with legal teams, identifying commercial risks, and driving discussions to secure favourable terms for large-scale programs. Ensure Commercial & Financial Viability: interpret business cases and financial models, challenge assumptions, and ensure negotiated terms translate into beneficial financial outcomes for TELUS. Act as the Commercial Hub for Key Deals: collaborate with internal finance, corporate development, and legal teams, as well as external advisors; align stakeholders on agreement management, deal structures, and execution pathways. Develop Innovative Commercial Frameworks: devise creative commercial solutions, including structuring complex third-party deals, to create win-win scenarios and give TELUS a competitive edge. Qualifications You're the missing piece of the puzzle 5-8+ years of experience from a transaction advisory group or a commercial management role focused on structuring and negotiating complex agreements, particularly within the infrastructure space. Proven track record across the entire deal lifecycle, from initial concept and term sheet through negotiation and final execution. Expert negotiator with strong ability to draft and scrutinize commercial terms to manage risk and maximize value. Natural collaborator, skilled at working with internal finance and legal teams, and confident in managing relationships with external advisors. Great-to-haves Bachelor’s degree in Business, Commerce, or a related field; CPA designation strongly preferred. Experience in telecommunications, infrastructure, or technology sectors. Experience in roles involving interaction with senior leadership. Salary and Benefits Salary Range: $102,000-$154,000 Performance Bonus or Sales Incentive Plan: 15% Total compensation determined by knowledge, skills, performance and experience.
