The Project Manager, Translation is responsible for overseeing translation projects from initiation to delivery. The Project Manager, Translation ensures the successful execution of translation projects, meeting quality, timeline, and budgetary requirements. Key Responsibilities Collaborate with clients to gather project requirements, including file format, required tasks, subject matter, deadlines, and specific instructions. Determine project scope, objectives, and deliverables. Assess resource requirements, including translators, proofreaders, and other project team members. Client Communication And Relationship Management Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, maintaining regular communication to understand their needs and expectations. Provide timely updates on project status, milestones, and any changes that may impact project scope or timeline. Address client feedback and concerns, ensuring client satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle. Quality Assurance And Delivery Collaborate with translators and proofreaders to address any linguistic or technical issues. Project Evaluation And Reporting Contribute to process improvements and the development of best practices for translation project management. Qualifications And Skills Bachelor's degree in Translation, Linguistics, Communication, or a related field. Minimum of 3 years experience in translation project management or coordination. Strong knowledge of translation processes, terminology management, and CAT (Computer‑Assisted Translation) tools. Excellent command of English language (written and spoken), bilingual (En‑Fr). Excellent project management skills, including planning, organization, and resource allocation. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with clients, translators, and other stakeholders. Your base pay will reflect the market location and may vary based on your experience, skills, and internal equity.
