**Position Summary**

The Project Manager is the front-line relationships manager charged with preserving, improving client and resource relationships. Alexa Translations partnerships are typically long term in nature and managing the existing client relationships and striving for an always improved client experience is the main focus.

The particular position we are hiring for manages projects and clients in the financial and banking sector. Therefore experience, knowledge and acumen in that sector are a must.

**Principle Responsibilities and Duties**

Everything we do in project management is done through the lens of providing exceptional customer experience. In order to accomplish this, the Project Manager is fully responsible for the entire life cycle of the client experience for all projects in his/her area.
- Project Planning

The smooth execution of a project depends to a large degree on good planning and ensuring that all stakeholders are in full agreement as to process, budget, timelines, deliverables as well as the agreed method of communication during the project as well as between project cycles.

For this group (finance/banking) planning the best process with all other stakeholders involved is key to timely delivery. The planning step also includes the review of existing processes and improvement thereof to improve quality and accuracy of deliverables.
- Execution

The project manager oversees the execution of all projects under his/her charge and is ultimately responsible to keep all stakeholders informed and aligned as to timelines, details, and any needed coordination throughout the execution phase.
- Project completion and follow up

Upon successful completion and delivery of the project, the Project Manager ensures that any follow up calls are done with the involved stakeholders. These calls serve the purpose to further strengthen the relationships and streamline processes.
- Client Relationship

The Project manager is fully responsible for maintaining the relationship with the clients and all requesters. Here again the Snr project manager ensures that all prep work, agreements and planning is done well ahead of the start of project execution.
- Management Duties:
The Project Manager is responsible for the production and continuous improvement of the team that works under him/her. He/She also plays an integral part in the improvement and development of your processes and we expect a project manager to always have an innovative point of view as to how things could be improved to deliver an even greater experience for all involved.

**Qualifications**

**Education**:

- College diploma, university degree or equivalent
- Bilingual (English/French) mandatory requirement

**Experience and Proficiencies**:

- 3+ years of experience working in the Canadian finance/banking sector
- 3+ years of experience as Translations or Localization Project Management with skills on translations platforms and CAT Tools.
- Formal training and experience as a translator is a plus
