Communications Manager

As a Senior Communications Manager, you will play a key role in shaping the communication strategies for our digital transformation initiatives. We are on a mission to become a cloud-based, digital-native services organization. To achieve this, we need to streamline our business processes, modernize legacy technology and networks, and simplify our product offerings. Your contributions will be vital in driving these changes forward and building a strong team culture through creative and impactful communications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead Communications Strategies: Own, evolve, and execute communication plans that drive end-user adoption of system changes while fostering a change-driven team culture.
- Content Creation: Develop fresh, engaging, and user-focused copy that simplifies complex products and processes, aligning with our brand voice and tone.
- Collaborative Campaign Management: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product owners, user experience specialists, and designers, to translate high-level concepts into tangible digital experiences through compelling copy.
- Multi-Channel Communication: Manage and produce newsletters, presentations, and other communications materials. Contribute to our team's social media presence and explore innovative ways to enhance our team's brand and culture.
- Content Strategy: Play a key role in the team’s content strategy, ensuring that all written communications are clear, relevant, and consistent with our brand identity.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Liaise between internal teams and third-party translation providers to ensure effective communication and seamless information exchange.
- Terminology Management: Establish and research new terminology as needed, addressing any gaps in the translation/revision process and proposing solutions.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Senior-level candidates with 7+ years of relevant experience in communications.
- Technical Proficiency: Proficient in using communication tools such as Adobe Campaign, Camtasia, and other multimedia applications.
- Technical Proficiency: Experience with building intranet sites and video content creation/editing, learning platforms, creating presentations
- Project Management: Strong ability to prioritize and manage deadlines across multiple teams and projects.
- Copywriting Expertise: Solid experience in designing new communications, developing customer journeys, and evolving existing content.
- Internal Engagement: Passionate about internal engagement and stakeholder relationship management.
Nice to Have:
- Experience in the telecommunications industry.
- Familiarity with Salesforce and ServiceNow.
- Background in change management and project management.
- Bilingualism in French and English, with oral and written fluency in both languages.
