Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Regional Manager to lead our Architect & Engineer (A&E) team in Canada. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing relationships with professional consultants, architects, and engineers who specify products for inclusion into their design of security systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • A&E Program Management
    • Cultivate and manage business relationships with A&E Program members.
    • Build the network of A&E Program members by leveraging programs and outreach initiatives.
    • Serve as a technical liaison between Axis Communications and A&E Program members.
    • Work cohesively with Sweden HQ regarding program initiatives and provide recommendations for improvement.
    • Support security specifiers by traveling to job sites, offices, and security conferences/shows to maintain relationships with security firms.
    • Assist with the planning and implementation of annual A&E Program event.
    • Develop and maintain a database of A&E Program members and project opportunities within the region, using Salesforce.
    • Consistently create opportunities for the program's growth through training, education, and business relationship management.
    • Work with Regional Sales Managers to provide excellent customer service to Program members.
    • Work with the Canadian A&E Manager counterpart to develop and implement a national business strategy for the A&E community.
    • Leverage Axis tools such as AXIS Site Designer and Autodesk plugins to increase Axis mindshare and specification of security projects within the A&E community.
    • Develop monthly and quarterly reports.
  • Trainer
    • Deliver bilingual courses and webinars for both internal and external customers in Eastern Canada.
    • Maintain training equipment.
    • Collect and act on survey feedback after training sessions.
    • Serve as an Axis Academy diplomat in customer-facing engagements.
    • Work with the Canadian Senior Technical Trainer to create and revise training materials and develop customized courses.
    • Work with the Canadian Senior Technical Trainer to perform needs analysis for course development.
  • Additional Responsibilities
    • Perform other related duties as assigned.
    • Travel both nationally and internationally on short notice.
    Requirements
    • Bilingual, fluent in both English and French.
    • Comprehensive understanding of all facets of the physical electronic security industry.
    • Networking & cyber knowledge and capabilities.
    • Strong relationship management.

    • Strategic and long-term thinking.
    • Excellent communication and diplomacy skills.
    • Efficient problem solver.
    • Superb networking and interpersonal skills.
    • Travel independently and productively.
    Preferred Qualifications
    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Networking Engineering, or Information Systems.
    • Prior experience in a technical training role.
    • 3+ years' industry experience in customer-facing roles related to engineering, security integration and consulting, system design and application, and/or technical sales.
