Stewarding Manager – Groupe Compass Quebec ltée. We are looking for a committed and detail‑orientated Stewarding Manager to join our award‑winning culture. Job Summary You will represent the company in a courteous, efficient and friendly manner in all customer and employee interactions. You will maintain high standards of sanitation, safety and compliance with HSQA guidelines while supervising the steady flow of daily operations. Responsibilities Represent the company in all customer and employee interactions, maintaining a professional and friendly demeanor. Follow principles of sanitation and safety in handling food and equipment. Oversee the completion of the master cleaning schedule and perform manager verification on all tasks. Act as a representative on the Joint Health & Safety committee. Manage equipment inventories and maintenance for the culinary team. Ensure all dishes are washed, sanitized and dried in accordance with proper HSQA guidelines. Interact with customers, clients and leadership to assure satisfaction. Enforce station SOPs for each meal service and oversee their execution. Submit required monthly safety audits and compliance inspections as requested by Executive Chef and HSQA. Assist with forecasting, compliance and scheduling. Collaborate with Production, Catering and Executive Chef on menu refreshes and provide feedback. Apply waste‑reduction techniques and monitor waste bins for excess or unusual waste. Complete operational reports and provide them to Executive Chef/FSD/GM daily. Qualifications Complete assigned tasks in a timely manner and thrive in a fast‑paced environment. 2–3 years of prior management or supervisory experience in hotel stewarding operations. Demonstrated ability to think strategically. Strong attention to detail and ability to address concerns quickly while managing multiple tasks simultaneously. Follow manager direction while effectively leading and delegating tasks to a team. Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Outlook). Proven ability to lead, motivate and develop direct reports during times of change and shifting priorities. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
