Senior Solutions Architect | Banking & Capital Markets (Remote - Canada) Are you a visionary technologist with a deep footprint in the Banking and Financial Services (BFSI) sector? We are seeking a Senior Solutions Architect to lead high-impact strategic initiatives, from legacy modernization to global cloud migrations. This role is a unique opportunity to act as a thought partner to senior leadership, ensuring our technology landscape is simplified, secure, and future-ready. Quick Facts Location: Remote (based in Canada) What You’ll Do Strategic Leadership: Act as a primary thought partner for senior leaders, translating complex business needs into robust technology roadmaps. Architectural Excellence: Lead initiatives like application rationalization, cloud migration, and legacy modernization within Global Banking and Markets (GBM). Efficiency & Simplification: Streamline the technology landscape to achieve cost and resource efficiency without compromising delivery. Security & Risk: Safeguard the Bank’s infrastructure by making informed choices regarding data, architecture, and risk appetite. Culture & Collaboration: Foster a customer-focused culture and lead teams in alignment with global compliance and conduct standards. What You Bring Experience: 12+ years of software engineering industry experience, with at least 5+ years specifically in Capital Markets . Technical Mastery: Proven track record in building highly distributed global systems, network infrastructure, and security. Transformation Expert: Hands‑on experience with structured architecture practices and moving complex on‑premise environments to hybrid cloud models. Education: Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Influence: Exceptional communication skills with the ability to navigate organizational boundaries and build lasting relationships with stakeholders and vendors.
