THE OPPORTUNITY As a Solution Architect, Business Value Consulting at OpenText, you will play a pivotal role in helping customers realize the full value of their digital transformation. You’ll collaborate closely with sales, consulting, and customer stakeholders to design scalable, secure, and innovative architectures that enable customers to align IT strategy with their business objectives. In this highly visible, consultative role, you’ll assess customer environments, guide strategic solution design, and demonstrate how OpenText technologies can drive measurable business impact. Your technical expertise and ability to communicate complex ideas will make you a trusted advisor to both business and technical leaders. You Are Great At Supporting sales teams throughout the full sales cycle — from discovery to closing — while ensuring strong internal alignment and customer trust. Collaborating with customer enterprise architects to design scalable, adaptable, and future-ready solutions. Leading workshops focused on cloud, security, and architecture to align IT and business strategy. Providing insights on emerging trends in cloud computing and information management. Developing joint migration strategies to ensure a seamless handover to Professional Services and Cloud Services. Representing OpenText at industry conferences and events, promoting our Cloud and AI offerings. Contributing to the development of IT policies, standards, and best practices. Partnering with customer privacy and compliance teams to design solutions that meet regulatory and governance requirements. What It Takes 5+ years of experience in consultative or complex technical sales, architecture, or deployment projects. Proven experience in the architecture, design, or implementation of highly distributed enterprise applications. 2+ years of experience migrating or converting on‑premise workloads to cloud environments. Deep understanding of cloud computing technologies (SaaS, PaaS, MPC, etc.), IT governance, and emerging trends. Strong knowledge of information security, compliance standards, and risk mitigation practices. Excellent project management, problem‑solving, and time management skills. A team player with strong communication, collaboration, and customer service orientation. Self‑motivated, innovative, and committed to excellence. Knowledge of the Enterprise Information Management industry; familiarity with OpenText products is a strong asset. French proficiency is desirable but not mandatory.
