About the Role As a Business Development Representative Level II , you will play a key role in building strong customer relationships, driving vendor initiatives, and supporting partner enablement activities. You’ll act as a trusted subject matter expert (SME) on products and programs for the sales organization. This role focuses on helping partners grow by conducting outreach, following up on leads, managing pipeline opportunities, and expanding relationships across organizations. What You’ll Do Build and maintain positive relationships with customers, ensuring their needs are met and concerns addressed promptly. Deliver exceptional customer service and act as a primary point of contact for consultations. Collaborate with vendors to design and implement strategic initiatives that foster business growth. Support partner enablement through vendor training and guidance on product and program knowledge. Manage vendor pipelines by identifying and qualifying leads, and advancing opportunities through the sales cycle. Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely follow-up and accurate reporting. Develop expertise in vendor products, programs, and industry trends to provide informed guidance. Analyze data and metrics to identify improvement opportunities and implement strategies for success. Apply creative problem-solving and technical knowledge to configure, price, quote, and process requests for hardware, software, and services. Provide education and technical guidance on product alternatives and cross-reference assistance. Participate in account planning and review processes with the sales team. Conduct customer consultations and deliver vendor training as an SME. Attend vendor-led industry training sessions as needed. What We’re Looking For 2–5 years of relevant experience preferred. Post-secondary degree preferred; high school diploma required. Experience with Fortinet preferred, with a strong understanding of network security and related technologies. Strong understanding of sales processes and terminology. Excellent communication skills, including presentations and negotiations. Ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders. Strong organizational and time management skills with a commitment to results. Adaptability and resilience in a fast-paced environment. Relationship-building skills with empathy and professionalism. Proficiency in learning new systems and technology; intermediate computer skills. Analytical mindset with problem-solving and decision-making capabilities. Willingness to travel as needed. Flexibility to work occasional non-standard hours or overtime. Annual Pay Range Requirement Annual compensation offered will be based on several variables including geographic location, work experience, education and skills/ achievements, and will be mutually agreed upon at the time of offer. Qualified candidates can expect a salary between $ 68,700.00 - $85,900.00 CAD depending on experience. Collaborer avec les fournisseurs afin de concevoir et mettre en œuvre des initiatives stratégiques favorisant la croissance des affaires. Soutenir la mobilisation des partenaires par la formation des fournisseurs et l’acquisition de connaissances sur les produits et programmes. Gérer les pipelines des fournisseurs en identifiant et en qualifiant les pistes, et en faisant progresser les opportunités dans le cycle de vente. Coordonner avec les équipes internes pour assurer un suivi rapide et des rapports précis. Développer une expertise sur les produits, programmes et tendances du secteur afin de fournir des conseils éclairés. Analyser les données et indicateurs pour identifier des opportunités d’amélioration et mettre en place des stratégies de réussite. Appliquer des compétences créatives en résolution de problèmes et des connaissances techniques pour configurer, établir les prix, préparer les devis et traiter les demandes pour le matériel, les logiciels et les services. Fournir des conseils techniques et éducatifs sur les produits alternatifs et l’assistance en matière de références croisées. Participer à la planification et aux processus de révision des comptes avec l’équipe des ventes. Effectuer des consultations auprès des clients et offrir des formations fournisseurs en tant qu’expert(e). Assister aux séances de formation sectorielle dirigées par les fournisseurs, au besoin. Profil recherché Expérience pertinente de 2 à 5 ans (préférée). Diplôme postsecondaire (préféré); diplôme d’études secondaires requis. Expérience avec Fortinet souhaitée, avec une solide compréhension de la sécurité réseau et des technologies connexes. Bonne compréhension des processus et de la terminologie de vente. Excellentes compétences en communication, y compris en présentation et en négociation. Capacité à collaborer efficacement avec des équipes et parties prenantes diversifiées. Solides compétences organisationnelles et en gestion du temps, axées sur les résultats. Adaptabilité et résilience dans un environnement dynamique. Aptitude à établir des relations avec empathie et professionnalisme. Maîtrise des nouveaux systèmes et technologies; compétences informatiques intermédiaires. Exigence concernant la fourchette salariale annuelle La rémunération annuelle offerte sera déterminée en fonction de plusieurs variables, notamment la localisation géographique, l’expérience professionnelle, la formation ainsi que les compétences et réalisations, et sera convenue mutuellement au moment de l’offre. Les candidats qualifiés peuvent s’attendre à un salaire compris entre 68 700,00 $ et 85 900,00 $ CAD , selon l’expérience.
