Our Canadian SaaS client is seeking a Lead Development Representative to play a crucial role in their sales process and help develop warm leads that are primed for their sales team.
Responsibilities
- Nurture prospects by offering resources and educational materials, building trust and rapport
- Map organizations and identify key decision-makers
- Build rapport with prospects and move them through the middle of the nurturing process
- Understand the customer’s environment and introduce new concepts to solve the customer’s problems
- Maintain forecasts and reports forecast for the sales leadership team
- Enter pertinent prospect information into the CRM
- Enhance product knowledge through regularly scheduled training sessions
- Support marketing campaigns and promotional offers to help optimize revenue
Experience required
- 4+ years experience in sales, business development or lead generation
- Strong understanding of sales automation tools (Hubspot, SalesForce)
- Strong prospecting, sales, customer service, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to effectively communicate with internal stakeholders
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with the sales team
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize workload to maximize efficiency
- Effective listener to understand prospect needs
- Strong organizational skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
