Our Canadian SaaS client is seeking a Lead Development Representative to play a crucial role in their sales process and help develop warm leads that are primed for their sales team.


Responsibilities


  • Nurture prospects by offering resources and educational materials, building trust and rapport
  • Map organizations and identify key decision-makers
  • Build rapport with prospects and move them through the middle of the nurturing process
  • Understand the customer’s environment and introduce new concepts to solve the customer’s problems
  • Maintain forecasts and reports forecast for the sales leadership team
  • Enter pertinent prospect information into the CRM
  • Enhance product knowledge through regularly scheduled training sessions
  • Support marketing campaigns and promotional offers to help optimize revenue


Experience required


  • 4+ years experience in sales, business development or lead generation
  • Strong understanding of sales automation tools (Hubspot, SalesForce)
  • Strong prospecting, sales, customer service, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to effectively communicate with internal stakeholders
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with the sales team
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize workload to maximize efficiency
  • Effective listener to understand prospect needs
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
