We’re seeking a dynamic and creative Content Marketing Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our marketing department, you will be responsible for crafting compelling content across various platforms to engage our target audience, drive brand awareness, and ultimately support our sales efforts for Drake International and Drake International brands. The ideal candidate will have excellent writing skills, a keen understanding of digital marketing strategies, and a passion for creating impactful content.


CORE JOB ACTIVITIES

  • Develop and execute content marketing strategies to drive brand awareness, engagement, and lead generation.
  • Write, edit, and proofread various types of content including website copy, blog posts, social media posts, sales collateral, email campaigns, and more.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure content aligns with overall marketing objectives and brand voice.
  • Conduct thorough research on industry trends, market insights, and target audience preferences to inform content creation.
  • Optimize content for SEO to improve organic search rankings and increase website traffic.
  • Manage content distribution across multiple channels including social media, email, and other digital platforms.
  • Monitor and analyze content performance using analytics tools to track key metrics and optimize content strategy accordingly.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and best practices in content marketing and digital marketing.
  • Assist with other marketing-related tasks and projects as needed, such as supporting marketing campaigns.


SKILL & EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

  • 1-3 years of experience of content marketing experience, with a strong portfolio of writing samples across various formats and platforms. New graduates are welcome
  • Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
  • Familiarity with SEO best practices and experience optimizing content for search engines.
  • Proficiency in using content management systems (CMS) and social media management tools.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret data to drive content strategy and decision-making.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment.
  • Creative thinker with the ability to generate innovative ideas and solutions.
  • Self-motivated with a passion for staying current with industry trends and best practices.
  • Experience with graphic design and multimedia content creation is a plus.
  • Bilingual in both English and French is a plus.
  • Post-secondary degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or related field.
