Warehouse Pallet Repairer Team Lead

Repair Team Lead Location: Ontario, CA Position: Permanent, full‑time at Ryder's manufacturing facility in Ontario, California. Salary & Hours Hourly Pay: $22.00 per hour (Overtime: $33.00 per hour). Schedule: Friday, Saturday, Sunday 4 AM–2:30 PM; Monday 3 PM–1:30 AM. Benefits On the Job Paid Training Medical, Dental, Vision, 401(k) starting 30 days; company match available Paid Time Off Employee Stock Purchase at 15% discount Employee Discounts on tools, vehicles, travel, electronics, etc. Safety Gear Provided; safety is a top priority State‑of‑the‑Art Equipment and Caring Leadership Requirements High school diploma or equivalent 3+ years in Warehouse/Manufacturing/Production or 1+ year in Construction or Carpentry Strong verbal & written communication skills Adaptable to a diverse work environment Highly thorough, dependable, punctual with good attendance Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Initiative and high degree of independence Capable of standing and walking for extended periods (at least 2 hours straight, four times per 8‑hour shift) Ready to lift/push/pull up to 70 lbs; twist, stoop, squat, reach, crouch frequently Operates hand tools and power equipment safely; complies with OSHA/MSDS standards Follows repair processes and quality control standards Must wear all safety equipment while repairing pallets Responsibilities Pallet repair: safely and securely repair pallets at a rate that meets company and safety standards Manual lift of 70 lb pallets from a stack to a repair table Use pry bar, grinder, saw, and 25 lb nail gun to repair components Ensure pallets meet CHEP's quality control audit Maintain a clean, neat, orderly work area; assist in security Promote safety; comply with OSHA, MSDS standards Complete duties within performance measurement guidelines of the contract Perform other duties as assigned Additional Screening Some positions require additional screening that may include employment and education verification, motor‑vehicle records check, a road test, and/or background requirements of the customer to which you are assigned.
