Team Lead Pallet Repair First Shift – Ryder Supply Chain Solutions Ryder is hiring a permanent full‑time Repair Team Lead to ensure excellent craftsmanship at our manufacturing facility in Ontario, California, overseeing Pallet Repair operations. Compensation & Schedule Hourly Pay: $22.00 per hour Overtime: $33.00 per hour Schedule: Monday through Thursday, 4:00 am – 2:30 pm Benefits On‑the‑job paid training Medical, dental, vision, 401(k) (beginning 30 days) Paid Time Off 401(k) company match 15 % employee discount on safety gear, tools, cars, hotels, electronics, travel, and more Safety gear provided; safety is our top priority State‑of‑the‑art equipment and caring leadership Requirements High school diploma or equivalent 3+ years in Warehouse/Manufacturing/Production Environment (preferred) 1+ year in Construction or Carpentry (preferred) Strong verbal and written communication skills Ability to work in a diverse environment Highly thorough, dependable, punctual with good attendance Can work independently with minimal supervision Strong initiative and independence Physically able to stand and walk for extended periods (at least 2 hrs straight, four times in an 8‑hr shift) Abilities include: Work independently and as part of a team Be a team player Build and maintain professional relationships across all levels Basic math proficiency Operate power equipment safely Lift/push/pull up to 70 lbs; twist, stoop, squat, reach, crouch frequently Use hands and feet simultaneously, perform repetitive motions Work at a fast pace while kneeling and/or twisting Follow repair process and safety standards Responsibilities Pallet Repair Safely and securely repair pallets at a rate meeting company and safety standards Manually lift 70 lb pallets from a stack to a repair table Use pry bars, grinders, saws, and a 25‑lb nail gun to re‑assemble components Quality Pallets must pass CHEP's quality control audit Safety & Security Maintain a clean, orderly work area Assist in warehouse security Operate in a manner that promotes safety and complies with OSHA and MSDS standards Wear all required safety equipment while repairing pallets Meet performance measurement guidelines of the contract Perform other duties as assigned Ryder is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer and a drug‑free workplace.
