Benefits On‑Job Paid Training Medical, Dental, Vision, 401(k) (company match) starting after 30 days Paid Time Off High‑valued employee stock with 15% discount Wide range of employee discounts on tools, cars, hotels, electronics, cell phones, travel, etc. Safety gear provided; safety is the first priority State‑of‑the‑art equipment and caring leadership Requirements High school diploma or equivalent 3+ years in a warehouse, manufacturing, or production environment (preferred) 1+ year in construction or carpentry (preferred) Strong verbal and written communication skills Ability to work in a diverse environment Highly thorough, dependable, punctual, and with a good attendance record Capable of independent work with minimal supervision and high initiative Physical requirements: stand and walk for extended periods (≥2 hours at a time, up to four times per 8‑hour shift), lift or push/pull up to 70 lbs, twist, stoop, squat, reach, crouch, use hands and feet simultaneously, perform repetitive movements, and work while kneeling/twisting Basic math proficiency Operate power equipment safely Follow repair process and safety standards (OSHA, MSDS) Responsibilities Pallet repair: safely and securely repair pallets to meet company and safety standards Manually lift 70‑lb pallets from a stack to a repair table Use pry bar to remove damaged boards, grinder and saw to remove nails, and 25‑lb nail gun to re‑nail components Ensure pallet meets CHEP quality control audit Maintain a clean, neat, and orderly work area and assist with warehouse security Conduct operations promoting safety and compliance with OSHA/MSDS standards Wear all required safety equipment while repairing pallets Adhere to performance measurement guidelines and perform other duties as assigned Important Note Some positions may require additional screening, including employment and education verification, motor‑vehicle records check, road test, and/or background checks or badging as required by the customer.
