You'll manage the Platform and Infrastructure team, help connect efforts across engineering groups, and ensure smooth coordination between product goals and technical execution. This is a leadership role for someone who operates with both technical and organizational depth. You'll work closely with the CEO and senior engineers to plan, prioritize, and deliver effectively across teams. You should be comfortable engaging in technical discussions, understanding trade-offs, and helping our engineering teams navigate decisions. Requirements Based in the Greater Toronto Area and able to work 3-4 days/week in‑office 2+ years of experience leading a team of 5+ engineers Full‑time C/C++ experience in performance‑critical (low‑latency, parallel processing) systems Preferred: Experience reporting to a CEO and working at a pre‑Series B startup Preferred: Full‑time experience with a digital consumer product Preferred: Full‑time experience at a deep‑tech company (e.g., GPU, OS, Compiler/Runtime, or sophisticated game engine) focused on low‑level systems or graphics architecture Preferred: Full‑time experience as the designated technical owner/architect for a major production system Benefits This is a full‑time position.
