Join us now and point your career forward Job Summary Now, if you were to come on board as our Unit HR & HSQA Specialist , we’d ask you to do the following for us: Coordinate and provide administrative support on all HR issues including, but not limited to, recruitment, HR orientation, training, employee and labour relations, and performance management Work closely with Payroll and Benefits department to address any benefits and compensation issues Support the new Associates, explaining benefits and policies, and helping to complete all new hire paperwork Assist our Occupational Health & Safety and Quality Assurance departments in ensuring units and associates adhere to the Company policies, as well as the Health & Safety and Quality Assurance provisions Perform regular in-unit Health & Safety inspections and audits Maintain & update employee files and records Think you have what it takes to be our Unit HR & HSQA Specialist ? Here’s how we’ll know you’ll be successful in the role: Post‑secondary education in Human Resources Management Strong knowledge of current legislation in Employment Standards, Human Rights Act and Occupational Health and Safety Act Highly motivated, energetic individual able to work collaboratively in a fast‑paced environment Readily adaptable to changing work priorities Excellent verbal and written communication skills Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office including Word, Excel and PowerPoint Flexible for occasional local travel as needed Compass Group Canada is committed to nurturing a diverse workforce representative of the communities within which we operate.
