**Job Title: Welder****Job Description**As a Welder, you will play a critical role in interpreting blueprints and drawings to cut, shape, measure, and assemble metal components using various tools and equipment. You will be responsible for welding metal components using FCAW, inspecting the quality of welds, adhering to safety protocols, and performing basic maintenance on welding machinery. Additionally, you will operate overhead cranes and forklifts.**Responsibilities**Read and interpret blueprints and drawings.Cut, shape, measure, and assemble metal components using tools such as saws, calipers, grinders, shears, and presses.Perform welding on metal components using FCAW.Inspect the quality of welds to ensure they meet standards.Adhere to all safety protocols, including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and following safety guidelines.Perform basic maintenance and upkeep of welding machinery.Operate overhead cranes and forklifts.**Essential Skills**3+ years of experience in flux core welding on structural steel.Proficiency in reading blueprints and schematics.Experience with hand and power tools.Ability to operate forklifts and overhead cranes.Knowledge of fabrication, MIG, TIG, and assembly.**Additional Skills & Qualifications**Experience in a custom shop environment.Familiarity with carbon steel and stainless steel.**Why Work Here?**This role offers the opportunity to transition from a contract position to a permanent role, providing career stability and growth.
