Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a MAG and TIG Welder located in Burlington, ON. The MAG and TIG Welder will be responsible for performing metal active gas (MAG) welding tasks, which include interpreting blueprints, preparing materials, setting up welding equipment, and performing precise welding processes. The role involves working with various metals to fabricate and assemble parts for custom water features, aquatic structures, and accessories. The position requires ensuring the quality and adherence to safety and industry standards during all stages of the welding and fabrication process.
Qualifications
- Experience with MAG Welding, TIG Welding, and proficiency in welding various types of metals
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications
- Knowledge of welding safety protocols and standards with attention to detail and quality assurance
- Physical dexterity and ability to handle welding tools and equipment effectively
- Relevant certifications or completion of welding-related training programs
- Experience in steel fabrication and custom fittings is an asset
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team setting
- Willingness to work on-site in Burlington, ON, and adhere to workplace safety regulations
