POSITION:                 Accounting Business Manager

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Reporting to the Director of Finance and Human Resources, the Business Manager will play a key role in maintaining and execution of Loyola's financial strategies. The Business Manager will be expected to cultivate client relationships with the school’s families and monitor the school’s collections.


EDUCATION:                       Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting;

                                           Accounting certification is an asset.


WORK EXPERIENCE:        3-5 years relevant work experience.

                                     

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

·        Prepare and monitor budgets and forecasts in accordance with the strategic orientations set by the school’s leadership team;

·        Prepare quarterly and annual financial statements and variance analyses relevant to decision making;

·        Assist in year end external audit, including financial statements;

·        Perform yearly billing process;

·        Monitoring of accounts receivables and ensure timely collections;

·        Assist in financial aid applications.

·        Assist in the implementation, documentation and maintaining of adequate and effective processes.

DESCRIPTION DU POSTE :

Relevant de la directrice des finances et des ressources humaines, le.la gestionnaire financier.ière jouera un rôle clé dans le maintien et l'exécution des stratégies financières de Loyola. Le.la gestionnaire financier.ière devra entretenir des relations avec les familles de l'école et surveiller les recouvrements de l'école.

 

ÉDUCATION :            Baccalauréat en finance ou comptabilité. Une certification en comptabilité est un atout.

 

EXPÉRIENCE DE TRAVAIL:         3 à 5 ans d'expérience professionnelle pertinente 

 

PRINCIPALES RESPONSABILITÉS:

·        Préparer et surveiller les budgets et les prévisions conformément aux orientations stratégiques définies par l'équipe de direction de l'école ;

·        Préparer les états financiers trimestriels et annuels et les analyses des écarts pertinents pour la prise de décision ;

·        Participer à l'audit externe de fin d'année, y compris les états financiers ;

·        Effectuer le processus de facturation annuel ;

·        Suivre les comptes débiteurs et assurer des recouvrements en temps voulu ;

·        Assister dans les demandes d'aide financière ;

·        Aider à la mise en œuvre, à la documentation et au maintien de processus adéquats et efficaces.        

 


SALAIRE :                                        À déterminer en fonction de l'expérience.
