Accounting Technician – Cascade Energy Services LP Location: Lloydminster, Alberta – Heavy Crude Hauling office Cascade Energy Services, a subsidiary of the Mullen Group, is a specialized trucking and industrial cleaning company that delivers reliable and professional services to clients in the energy, utilities, and construction sectors across western Canada. Responsibilities Supports and handles technical accounting duties including payroll, accounts payable expenses, and billing. Processes payroll, including accurate calculations and entry with various payroll shifts, equalization, and expense reimbursements. Oversees entry of tickets for billing purposes using the LEM (Labour, Equipment, Material) application, as well as billing and support for billing processes. Ensures accuracy and compliance with accounting standards. Collaborates with other departments to resolve accounting issues. Assists with reconciliations and resolution of discrepancies. Qualifications 5+ years of experience in accounting or bookkeeping. Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office Suite, including advanced Excel utilizing formulas and pivot tables. Strong attention to detail and problem‑solving skills. Excellent organizational and time‑management skills. Effective communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment with priorities and strict deadlines. Capable of working independently and collaboratively with administration, operations, and management teams.
