Are you up for a challenge in the world of high-tech? We'd love to have you on board Eddyfi Technologies is looking for an Accounting Technician to join our Finance team.

**Your daily life**

As a key member of the accounting team within the company, you will also provide support for the administrative management. The work involves various tasks related to accounts payable and end-of-month processes, and to a lesser extent, taking on certain tasks related to the sound financial and administrative management of the company. Generally, supporting the Financial Controller in their duties, working in collaboration with the rest of the accounting team.

**In this role you will**

  • Perform accounting processing and complete management of accounts payable (i.e., receipt of invoices, matching with delivery receipts, coding, system entry, payment issuance, expense account verifications, supplier statement reconciliations, payments according to established internal controls and procedures, etc.);
  • Perform bank reconciliations and expense report verification;
  • Perform various tasks related to end-of-month processes, adjusting figures to reflect a change in month. (i.e., accrued adjustments, recharging billing, adjustment of prepayments and provisions, etc.);
  • Assist the team as needed in the processing of other accounting cycles.

**What We're Looking For**

  • You have a professional or college diploma in Accounting/Administration (or related discipline);
  • You have 3 years of relevant experience;
  • You possess excellent knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite (especially Excel);
  • You practically master basic accounting concepts;
  • You are familiar with SAP S/4 Hana software (considered an asset);
  • You demonstrate rigor, organizational skills, attention to detail, autonomy, versatility, discretion;
  • You are able to work in a team, are willing to learn, and are resourceful;
  • You have the ability to prioritize and work under pressure;
  • You remain flexibility in terms of schedule, especially at month-end;
  • You possesss sufficient functional English to interact on a regular basis, both orally and in writing.
