The adoption of electrically assisted bikes and new innovation projects’ portfolios are changing accounting practices and the way financial information is processed. We are looking for someone to support the accounting team in this growth.

Reporting to the Executive Director of Finance and Strategy, the Accounting technician will participate in BIXI Montréal’s financial and accounting management and will have the opportunity to be an important player in the organization’s advancement and its transformation towards a new ERP system.

**What you will do**:

- Manage accounts receivable and accounts payable
- Create supplier and customer master records and maintaining this master information in the ERP system
- Issue invoices to customers and follow up on their collections
- Manage the receipt of invoices from suppliers, accounting
- Support the accountant in the process of payments to suppliers and respect the terms of payment of supplier invoices (direct deposits and cheques)
- Check and record expense account reports
- Prepare accounting entries and participate in month-end and year-end operations
- Support the accountant in the analysis of certain ledger accounts
- Perform bank reconciliation
- May be required to assist in the preparation of payrolls

**Job requirements**:

- Have a college diploma (DEC) in accounting or equivalent training
- 1 to 3 years of relevant experience in a similar position
- Enjoy teamwork and be versatile
- Organized, rigorous person with initiative and autonomy
- Proficiency in Excel software
- Knowledge of the ERP system
- Enjoy working in a changing environment
