Assistant / Associate / Full Professor - Emergency Medicine Position offered by the Division of Emergency Medicine at the University of Toronto. Date Posted: 08/10/2023Closing Date: 10/10/2023, 11:59PM ET Description The Department of Medicine and the Division of Emergency Medicine at University of Toronto are seeking qualified academic emergency medicine physicians for roles such as Clinician Teacher, Clinician Educator, Clinician in Quality & Innovation, Clinician Scientist and Clinician Investigator, up to 8 full‑time positions. Successful candidates will be hired through one of the three fully affiliated Toronto Academic Health Sciences Network hospitals: Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre, Unity Health Toronto, or University Health Network, and will hold a full‑time clinical academic appointment at the rank of Assistant, Associate or Full Professor. Responsibilities Provide exemplary patient‑centered care. Participate in undergraduate and postgraduate teaching programs of the University of Toronto as appropriate. Commit to a career in emergency medicine and demonstrate academic interests in education, quality improvement or research. Show academic excellence through teaching and/or research nominations and awards, secured research grants, publications in leading journals, conference presentations, and other professional activities. Qualifications MD degree. Eligible for certification in the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada in Emergency Medicine. Eligible for or holding licensure in Ontario.
