Overview The Territory Business Leader (TBL) is responsible for organizing, directing and integrating the multi-channel (agency, broker, direct and inside sales) distribution strategies and change initiatives within an assigned Territory/Province to aid in driving profitable growth and operational excellence. This leader will work with Distribution Strategy and Operations teams to provide consistent countrywide solutions across Territories/Provinces that can be operationalized into market execution plans. This individual is an expert in field, sales and operations and will partner with the Sales Director to drive results. The Territory Business Leader will report to the ACG, Agency Sales Director. Key Responsibilities Key territory integration point across multi-channel distribution channels to drive alignment on the respective distribution channel strategy to deliver solutions Partnership and collaboration on strategic intent across key partner AOR leaders Lead initiatives to ensure change readiness, solicit feedback pre and post launch and manage key success metrics post deployment Coordinate validation exercise on sales compensation models, ensuring partnership with sales compensation to drive results and expense management Support Sales Director on preparations for PL reviews and leadership meetings Support Sales Directors on identifying key trends that are impacting PL top line and bottom line Collaborate with Sales Directors on identifying operational efficiencies within respective operating models Manages key communication events ensuring alignment to both short and long term strategy: Territory/Province/Channel Agenda creation, presenter preparation, meeting/webinar set up, materials/visual creation/oversight, meeting facilitation, organizing and seeing through meeting follow-ups Analyzes territory/province quantitative, qualitative and trend data to draw conclusions and recommend tactics to improve business results Supervisor Responsibilities This job has supervisory duties. Education And Experience 4 year Bachelors Degree (Preferred) 10 or more years of experience (Preferred) In lieu of the above education requirements, an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered. Certifications, Licenses, Registrations Property and Casualty Insurance License (Preferred) Functional Skills Ability to influence and inspire, to interact effectively, and coach others on to drive results Highly advanced knowledge of sales operating models; agency operations and economics Advanced ability to leverage technical skills in support of territory objectives Highly advanced conflict management and problem resolution skills in managing relationships Highly advanced problem-solving skills to continuously improve business outcomes Ability to introduce and lead change effectively Ability to properly prioritize different tasks, requests and issues as they arise Must have a proven track record for driving results through the development of effective relationships with Sales, Operations, Product Operations, Finance, Marketing and across other business units Résumé du poste Le ou la responsable territorial·e des affaires est responsable de l’organisation, de la direction et de l’intégration de stratégies de distribution multicanal (agences, courtiers et ventes internes) et des initiatives de changement au sein d’un territoire assigné afin de favoriser la croissance rentable et l’excellence opérationnelle. Le ou la titulaire du poste est un expert du terrain, des operations et des ventes, et collaborera avec les directeurs principaux des ventes pour atteindre des résultats. Le ou la responsable territorial·e des affaires relèvera du directeur principal des ventes en agence du GAC. Principales responsabilités Agir à titre de point d’intégration territoriale clé pour l’ensemble des canaux de distribution multicanal pour assurer l’harmonisation des stratégies de distribution par canal et offrir des solutions Collaborer avec les partenaires clés sur l’intention stratégique Gérer des projets pour assurer la préparation au changement, recueillir des commentaires avant et après le changement et gérer les mesures de succès clés après le déploiement Coordonner l’exercice de validation pour les modèles de rémunération des ventes, en assurant une collaboration avec l’équipe de la rémunération des ventes pour atteindre des résultats et gérer les dépenses Apporter du soutien aux directeurs principaux des ventes dans la préparation des revues et des réunions de direction Apporter du soutien pour identifier les tendances clés impactant le chiffre d’affaires et les résultats nets de l’assurance de dommages Collaborer pour identifier les inefficacités opérationnelles Gérer les événements de communication assurant l’alignement à court et long terme et préparer les ordres du jour, les présentateurs, les réunions et les supports Analyser données quantitatives et qualitatives et recommander des tactiques pour améliorer les résultats Responsabilités en matière de supervision Ce poste comporte des tâches de supervision. Éducation et expérience Baccalauréat de 4 ans (préférable) Au moins 10 ans d’expérience (préférable) À défaut des exigences ci-dessus, une combinaison équivalente d’études et d’expérience peut être considérée Permis, licences et inscriptions Permis d’assurance de dommages (un atout) Compétences fonctionnelles Capacité à influencer et inspirer, à interagir efficacement et à encadrer les autres pour obtenir des résultats Connaissances solides des modèles opérationnels de vente et des agences Capacité à utiliser des compétences techniques pour soutenir les objectifs territoriaux Excellentes compétences en gestion de conflits et résolution de problèmes Capacité à diriger le changement et à prioriser les tâches Historique démontré de réalisation de résultats par le développement de relations avec les Ventes, Opérations, Finances et autres unités Joining our team isn’t just a job — it’s an opportunity.
