We are seeking a Long Term Occasional teacher to provide coverage for a teacher on leave at the designated school. Successful completion of Sexual Abuse Prevention Training through OCT. Salary range: $51,234.00 to $119,943.00, determined in accordance with Article 32 of the OECTA Collective Agreement. How to Apply All applications must be submitted through Apply to Education. Incomplete applications will not be considered. Failure to complete application information may impact interview eligibility. Process for Selection The board will identify the three most senior applicants who are available and hold the required qualifications. Applicants will be contacted to confirm their willingness to be considered. If they decline, the next most senior qualified applicant will be approached. Should there be fewer than three qualified applicants, the board will select the successful applicant from the available pool. If no qualified occasional teachers apply or all decline, the board may hire an external qualified teacher not on the roster. External candidates may be required to submit a recent negative PRC for the Vulnerable Sector. AI may be utilized during the selection and recruitment process.
