LTO Assignment: Grade 5 AM – Grade 4 PM (1.00 FTE) Ottawa Catholic School Board is seeking a Long Term Occasional teacher to provide coverage for a teacher on leave at the specified school. Description Provide classroom instruction in appropriated subject areas during the term. Qualifications Good standing with the Ontario College of Teachers. Successful completion of Sexual Abuse Prevention Training through OCT. Applicants not currently employed by the OCSB must submit a negative PRC for a Vulnerable Sector, dated within the last six months. Compensation Salary will be determined in accordance with Article 32 of the OECTA Collective Agreement, ranging from $51,234.00 to $119,943.00 (effective September 1, 2025). Selection Process The board will identify the three most senior qualified applicants. Each will be contacted to confirm interest in the position. If any applicant declines, the board will contact the next most senior qualified applicant until five candidates are considered. If no qualified teachers apply or all decline, the board may hire an external qualified teacher not on the roster.
